Anonymous,
I would say that is not very true, and in fact in the last week or so, I answered two technical questions that came to our band email. We get them all the time, and we love answering them. Perhaps we missed something you sent us, and for that, we apologize. We do the best we can, and being that we have in the past been on perpetual tour, where email is REALLY tricky to keep up with, and then the fact that I (Rob) didn't have internet in August and September. I guess what I am saying, is we DO go out of our way to be as approachable as possible on here, but like, it IS the internet, and it is a really beautiful day outside, so, like it isn't always in the front of our minds. I will admit, that I am not the most internet-ish person. Sorry!

Ryan,
Thanks! We use a combination of software. On the past records, we use this REALLY old program called Soundmaker Pro (which I bought in 1997!! It came on two floppy disks!) There isn't very much pro about it, but it does have an immediacy that I like, in regards to just simply cutting and pasting pieces of sounds. Unfortunately it only is 16bit and like 44khz, which I still really don't understand what that means, but like I guess it is low quality? Mary more recently has gotten into Protools, and we have been trying to integrate them, because I have zero clue how to use protools. Oh... and I really love the 31 band eq in Garageband! I also really like the little mic over the monitor on my old iMac. We make all the sounds ourselves, and that, for me at least is a wide open frontier as far as everything you could possibly use to make a sound. Lot's of non-instruments that happen to make cool sounds!

This new song is amazing and the video is also very amazing!

As an aside - I talked to Robbie B. once in person after a show and asked him technical questions about equipment/sound and he was extremely gracious and cool about it. High Places = the nicest people in rock!

Keep it Up!
